Perforated aluminum sheet combines the natural advantages of aluminum with the functional beauty of engineered hole patterns. Our production line punches round, square, slot and decorative patterns into 1050, 3003 and 5052 sheet using CNC tooling that keeps hole position accurate across the full panel, then deburrs every edge so the sheet is safe to handle and ready for powder coating or anodizing. Open areas can be tailored from about twenty percent for structural screening up to seventy percent for ventilation and acoustic applications, giving designers and engineers precise control over airflow, sound absorption and visibility through the panel.
Because the base metal is aluminum, perforated panels stay free from rust even when installed outdoors, at the seaside or in food processing halls where washdown with aggressive chemicals is routine. The light weight of the finished panel simplifies fixing to steel or timber subframes, and our ability to shear to size and punch to a customer drawing means the panel arrives ready for installation with no wasted offcut. For acoustic barriers we recommend perforating the sheet and backing it with sound absorbing material, a construction that cuts reflected noise effectively on highways and around industrial plant.
