Deep drawing cold rolled steel sheet is produced by pickling hot rolled strip, cold rolling it to the required gauge, and annealing it in a controlled atmosphere to restore the soft, ductile structure that stamping dies need. The DC01, DC03, SPCC and SPCD grades we supply differ in their guaranteed drawability: DC01 and SPCC suit general forming and shallow drawn parts, while DC03 and SPCD provide the deeper drawability required for oil pans, sink bowls, battery cases and complex automotive panels.
