The AUMA SQ/SQR 05.2 – 14.2 part-turn actuators with AUMA MATIC AM 01.1 / AMExC 01.1 controls in SFC version are purpose-built for safety instrumented systems (SIS) per IEC 61508 / IEC 61511. These quarter-turn actuators provide certified “Safe end position feedback" using mechanical limit switches, achieving SIL 2/3 capability in low-demand mode. The compact design integrates actuator, worm gear, and controls into a single weatherproof unit, ensuring reliable 90° valve positioning with comprehensive diagnostics for proof testing and PVST.
