The Spirax Sarco FT14 is a classic ball float steam trap featuring an SG iron (ductile iron) body with stainless steel internals and a built-in automatic air venting mechanism. It discharges condensate continuously at steam temperature while efficiently handling non-condensable gases through its balanced pressure thermostatic air vent. This trap allows easy in-line maintenance without removing it from the pipeline.
Body Material: SG iron (ductile iron). Working Internals: Stainless steel. Connection Types: Screwed (BSP T Rp ISO 7-1) or flanged (PN16, ASME 150, etc.). Sizes: ½" to 2" (DN15 to DN50). Pressure Ranges: Available with 4.5 bar, 10 bar, or 14 bar maximum differential pressure (ΔPMX). Maximum Operating Temperature: Up to 220°C (depending on pressure). Air Vent Capsule: BP99/32, suitable for 150°C superheat at 0 bar g. Installation: Float arm horizontal, flow as indicated on body (adjustable direction).
Well-suited for process equipment controlled by modulating temperature valves, unit heaters, air heating coils, heat exchangers, and steam main drip stations across various industries.
