This product combination pairs the Fi-sher FIELDVUE DVC6200 digital valve controller with the Fi-sher 2625 volume booster. Together they deliver precise digital positioning and increased actuator stroking speed for throttling control valves, particularly where larger actuators require higher air volume.
The DVC6200 is a HART-communicating, microprocessor-based instrument that converts a 4-20 mA control signal into a pneumatic output to the actuator. It features linkage-less, non-contact position feedback and supports automatic calibration, configuration, and advanced diagnostics. The 2625 volume booster is installed in conjunction with the positioner to supply the additional air volume needed for rapid actuator stroking during large signal changes. It includes an integral bypass restriction for tuning response to smaller signal changes and soft seats that help maintain tight shutoff and reduce unnecessary air consumption. The combination allows high stroking speeds on demand while preserving the steady-state accuracy of the digital positioner.
