Fisher FIELDVUE 4400 Digital Valve Position Transmitter with Non-Contact Sensing

The Fisher FIELDVUE 4400 Digital Position Transmitter provides position feedback for rotary and sliding-stem valves, vents, dampers and other moving equipment. It is designed for applications where operators need a clear indication of equipment position, together with additional diagnostic information.

Unlike the older Fisher 4200 series, which uses mechanically coupled potentiometer sensing, the 4400 uses a non-contact sensing arrangement with a magnet array. This design reduces dependence on mechanical linkage for position measurement.

The 4400 provides 4–20 mA position feedback and supports HART 7 communication. Its diagnostic functions include cycle count, opening and closing time, travel accumulation, dwell time, current position and stroke time.
