The A2000 axial flow control valve is a fully pressure-balanced sleeve control valve. It features a streamlined and uniformly symmetrical free-flow path, which reduces the impact of local high stability of the valve.
This valve can be widely used for pressure, speed, turbulence, and jet streams, enhancing the flow regulation in pipelines conveying natural gas, liquefied gas, crude oil, refined oil, and liquefied chemical products.
It has excellent pressure resistance and high flow capacity, making it particularly suitable for applications with significant pulsating pressure. Even at the compressor outlet, it can address capacity issues while improving control stability.
Moreover, it effectively reduces noise generation.
The spool is a completely pressure-balanced type. The fluid medium flows uniformly through the flow sleeve, ensuring that the dynamic force of the medium on the spool and the pressure difference between the two sides of the valve have an almost negligible impact on the operating force of the actuator. This design enables even large-diameter valves operating under high-pressure drop conditions to be controlled with a smaller actuator.

Wuzhong Instrumentation Co., Ltd. is the largest regulating valve manufacturer in China. In 2001, the company partnered with PetroChina Huayu Natural Gas Co., Ltd. to localize major equipment.
In 2002, a significant development occurred with the creation of the A2000 axial flow valve, marking a major breakthrough. This valve was the first to be installed at the NgaMenKou end station of the Shaan-Beijing pipeline, with two DN500 ANS1400 valves. Over the course of three years, a thorough development process ensued.
Following the successful development period, the ANS1400 series was established, and it has since been widely utilized. These products have been extensively employed in twelve sub-transmission stations along the eastern segment of the second line of West-East Natural Gas Pipeline (Zhongwei Guangzhou), as well as in the gas pipeline projects of Hebei Zhuozhou and Shijiazhuang natural gas city first station of the Shaan-Beijing Pipeline. They have also been utilized by Jiangsu Jintan Hongkong China, Chongqing Gas Group, and other entities. To date, over 50 sets of these valves have been implemented across various pipeline projects.
