Acetyl decapeptide-3 is a synthetic bioactive peptide composed of ten amino acids, whose stability and skin permeability are enhanced through acetylation modification. Its amino acid sequence mimics a functional fragment of basic fibroblast growth factor, enabling it to target dermal cells. As a multi-effect anti-aging active ingredient, it exhibits unique value in anti-oxidation, anti-wrinkle, and skin repair, and is often referred to as the "anti-glycation gold peptide" or "dual-effect anti-aging engine."
1.Antioxidant and Anti-glycation: Acetyl decapeptide-3 effectively neutralizes free radicals, reducing oxidative stress damage caused by environmental factors such as UV radiation and pollution, and protecting skin cells from oxidative damage. It activates lysyl oxidase, breaking down the cross-linked structures of advanced glycation end products (AGEs), reversing skin yellowing and stiffness caused by glycation, and restoring collagen fiber elasticity.
2.Promoting Collagen and Extracellular Matrix Synthesis: This ingredient mimics the function of basic fibroblast growth factor, binding to cell surface receptors and activating intracellular signaling pathways that promote cell proliferation and differentiation. It significantly upregulates the expression of extracellular matrix proteins such as type I and type III collagen, fibronectin, and laminin, rebuilding the skin's support structure.
3.Anti-wrinkle and Skin Firming: By inhibiting inflammatory pathways such as nuclear factor κB, it reduces the release of inflammatory factors induced by AGEs, alleviating chronic skin inflammation. It increases skin thickness and moisture retention, improves skin elasticity and firmness, and reduces the depth of fine lines and wrinkles.
