Sodium lauroyl glutamate (SLG), also known as sodium lauroyl glutamate, is a chemical organic compound with the chemical formula C17H30NNaO5.This substance belongs to the amino acid-type surfactant class and possesses readily biodegradable, antibacterial, safe, and non-allergenic properties. It also exhibits good water solubility, strong salt resistance, and pH responsiveness. In applications, SLG reduces oil/water interfacial tension and provides nutrients for microbial growth, thereby promoting the biodegradation of dodecylcyclohexane.
Gentle Cleansing and Low Irritation: Sodium lauroyl glutamate (SLA) has an amino acid structure similar to that of skin keratin, making it less likely to damage the sebum film and protein structure during cleansing. Its slightly acidic pH (approximately 5.5) is close to the pH of healthy skin, significantly reducing irritation to the eyes and skin.
Fine Foam and Refreshing Feel: This ingredient produces rich, long-lasting foam that is easy to rinse without leaving a slippery residue. After washing, the skin feels refreshed and soft, without causing dryness, tightness, or barrier damage.
