Polyoxyethylene Stearate is a nonionic surfactant prepared by esterification of hydrophilic polyethylene glycol chains with hydrophobic stearic acid. This molecule possesses both a hydrophilic head and a hydrophobic tail, allowing it to orient itself at the oil-water interface. Depending on the length of the polyethylene glycol chain, a series of products with varying HLB values ​​can be formed, and these products are widely used in the cosmetics, pharmaceutical, and food industries as emulsifiers, thickeners, and stabilizers.
