Carbon steel coil is a rolled steel made of carbon steel by hot rolling or cold rolling process, which is widely used in construction, machinery manufacturing, automobile and other industries.
Carbon steel coil is a rolled steel made of carbon steel (carbon content 0.0218%~2.11%), usually containing a small amount of silicon, manganese, sulfur, phosphorus and other elements. Its performance varies with the carbon content: low carbon steel (C≤0.25%) has good plasticity and is suitable for cold processing; medium carbon steel (0.25%<C≤0.6%) has moderate strength and is used for mechanical parts; high carbon steel (C>0.6%) has high hardness and is suitable for tools and springs.
Hot-rolled carbon steel coil: rolled at high temperature, with oxide scale on the surface, usually with large thickness, used in fields with low surface requirements such as building structures.
Cold-rolled carbon steel coil: using hot-rolled coil as raw material, rolled at room temperature, with smooth surface and precise size, thickness can be as thin as 0.18mm, widely used in precision manufacturing such as automobiles and home appliances.
Construction industry: Structural parts such as threaded steel and steel sections (such as Q235 steel coils).
Machinery manufacturing: Gears, connecting rods and other parts (such as 45 steel after quenching and tempering).
