Our bon steel coils are produced from bon steel (bon content 0.0218%~2.11%) with controlled amounts of silicon, manganese, sulfur, and phosphorus. Performance characteristics vary by bon content:
Medium bon Steel (0.25%<C≤0.6%): Balanced strength suitable for mechanical components
High bon Steel (C>0.6%): Superior hardness perfect for tools and springs
Hot-Rolled bon Steel Coil
Manufactured through high-temperature rolling processes, hot-rolled coils feature surface oxide scale and are typically available in larger thicknesses. Ideal for applications with less stringent surface requirements such as building structures.
