Galvanized coil is a processed product that immerses steel plate in molten zinc bath to form a zinc layer protective layer. It is mainly produced by continuous hot-dip galvanizing process, combining the strength of steel with the corrosion resistance of zinc.
Production process
Using cold-rolled or hot-rolled steel strip as the substrate, it is immersed in 450-460ºC molten zinc liquid, and the iron-zinc reaction forms an alloy layer, which is then covered with a pure zinc layer. Finally, it is cooled and post-processed (such as passivation and oiling) to complete the process.
Application fields:
Widely used in construction (steel structure, roof panel), home appliances (refrigerator shell, washing machine inner drum), automobile (chassis anti-corrosion, exhaust pipe sheath), energy (photovoltaic) and container manufacturing, etc.
Galvanized coils can be divided into hot-rolled galvanized coils and cold-rolled hot-dip galvanized coils. They are mainly used in the fields of construction, home appliances, automobiles, containers, transportation and household industries. Especially in the steel structure construction, automobile manufacturing, steel silo manufacturing and other industries. Their main features are: strong corrosion resistance, good surface quality, conducive to deep processing, economical and practical, etc.
