Galvanized sheet is a steel sheet that has received a specific treatment consisting of hot galvanizing. As such, the steel is immersed in a zinc crucible so that the sheets are fully covered with this metal.
Depending on the specific sheet, the immersion may have been carried out in a zinc-iron alloy. In any case, when carried out hot, it fully adheres to the steel, so steel and bath become inseparable. This is especially the case with zinc-iron alloy, which prevents chipping to a greater extent.
