Product Overview
The CB/T 435 Type B deck mounted inboard horizontal roller fairlead is installed in the middle deck area between the shipside roller fairlead and the middle mooring winch. Its main function is to act as an intermediate support point for a long mooring rope lead, especially when the winch is located far from the ship side and deck piping, fittings, or structural members are located between the winch and the shipside fairlead.
Unlike Type A, which is arranged at the ship side and used together with a shipside roller fairlead, Type B is an inboard deck-mounted support roller. It helps prevent the mooring rope from sagging onto the deck, assists the rope in crossing over deck obstacles, and can adjust the rope lead in the vertical direction. The roller bearing arrangement includes a lubricating oil groove for smooth rotation. When the fairlead height exceeds 700 mm, transverse bottom reinforcement and bracket reinforcement can be arranged to improve stability; final reinforcement details should be confirmed according to the vessel deck arrangement and project drawing.
