The GB 2026 bolted type mooring kevel is a compact cast mooring fitting used on inland vessels, small workboats, service boats, barges, berths, and marina mooring positions. It can be installed on a deck or bulwark by bolts, providing a simple mooring point where the rope needs to be fastened without a welded bollard base.
This kevel is normally selected by rope diameter, material, mounting position, available installation space, and the strength of the supporting deck or bulwark structure. The supplied table covers cast copper and cast steel versions with maximum Malina rope diameter up to 75 mm and weight from 1.33 kg to 11.2 kg.
