DOOWIN IBUs provide flexible, multi-purpose flotation for demanding subsea applications. Designed for precision buoyancy control, these enclosed units excel in pipeline float-outs, beach pulls, river crossings, and vessel/platform draft reduction. Their robust construction ensures stability even during towing operations (up to 2 knots depending on conditions).

Material: High-tensile polyester with UV-stabilized PVC coating for durability.
Safety Features: 316 stainless steel Camlock valves and 38mm pressure relief valves.
Operating Pressure: 2 psi over ambient for optimal displacement volume.
User-Friendly Design
Compact & Lightweight: A 5-ton IBU weighs only 46 kg, enabling easy handling by two crew members.
Integrated Ladders & Spacing Straps: Simplify deployment and ensure even load distribution.
Low-Profile Configuration: Ideal for shallow-water operations with minimal vertical height.
Horizontal Deployment Expertise
Unlike conventional IBUs, DOOWIN’s patented end-strop system prevents bulging by directing airflow during inflation. Circumferential strops accommodate load angles up to 15°, while our Mono Buoyancy Units handle steeper angles.
