Pick-up Type General Surface Chain Support Foam Buoys

DOOWIN MARINE General Surface Support Buoys feature a polyethylene thermolaminated foam core encased in a self-colored polyurethane outer layer with internal steel components. The resilient closed-cell foam core ensures water resistance even if the outer layer is damaged, effectively extending service life and reducing maintenance costs. The tough material offers excellent impact absorption and self-fendering capability.
The durable polyurethane elastomer exterior maintains stable coloration, resists marine growth, and provides abrasion and UV degradation resistance. It can be reinforced for enhanced strength in extreme operating conditions. The standard range includes buoys from 9kg markers to 6,000kg+ heavy-duty chain support models.
Key types of Chain Support Buoys include:
Cylindrical Buoy (CB): Equipped with removable clevis plate or lifting eye, with central tension member engineered to match client's Safe Working Load (SWL).
Chain-Through Buoy (CTB): Features central tube for chain passage, with chain locking devices on one or both ends to secure the buoy to the chain.
Pick-Up Buoy (PU): Designed for versatile applications including mooring, marking, and pick-up operations.
