Inflatable Airbag Landing Heavy Lifting Rubber Airbag Boat Lift Air Bags
Heavy lifting air bags, known as marine rubber airbags or ship launching balloons, are made of heavy-duty synthetic-tire-cord layers with inner and outer rubber layers in a long cylindrical balloon shape.
The heavy lifting airbag is updated based on the ship launching airbags, making them more suitable for heavy lifting and moving work. These airbags have a different structure from ship launching airbags and can roll steadily when taking the load, unlike inferior products which are prone to twisting.
As one of the toughest pneumatic lifting airbags available, they can be used for heavy lifting and moving of huge structures, caissons, buildings, and more. Each heavy lifting airbag can reach a lifting capacity of over 1,000 tons.
Why Choose Marine Heavy Lifting Air Bags
Superior manufacturing and quality control processes from raw material selection through the highly skilled production process ensure reliable performance.
Heavy Lifting Airbags Performance
Lifting Capacity Principle
The bearing capacity of ship launching airbags is calculated based on working pressure and contact area, with working pressure determined by burst pressure and safety working factor.
Due to the flexibility of rubber airbags, contact area is affected by various factors including carried ship condition and position relative to gravity center during launching and landing, causing bearing capacity to vary.
F=PS S=π x (D-H)/2
Where: F = bearing capacity P = working pressure S = contact area P = percentage of deformation (%) D = original diameter of the air bag (m) H = height of the compressed air bag (m)

End plug at the tightness end (Q235 H.D.G)
Classification of Heavy Lifting Airbags
Heavy lifting airbags are categorized by bearing capacity per meter in length, with layer count determining Safety Working Pressure. Custom types are available upon request.
QP - Ordinary airbag with 3, 4 or 5 layers of cord fabric
QG - High-bearing capacity with 6, 7, or 8 layers of cord fabric
QS - Superhigh-bearing capacity with 9, 10, or more layers of cord fabrics
Example: QG6/1.5*15 QG6: 6 layers cord fabric 1.5: diameter is 1.5m 15: length is 15m
