Known as a dynamic Gravity Racking System, this setup relies on gravity to glide loaded pallets along a slight incline from the loading side to the opposite picking face. Forklifts are confined to separate loading and unloading ends, preventing cross-traffic collisions in forklift picking aisles. This continuous sliding movement relies on durable steel roller tracks integrated within reinforced lanes, ensuring efficient first-in, first-out (FIFO) logistics without electrical energy consumption.
Setup
The structural frame is manufactured from roll-formed Q235B steel structures to ensure high structural stability and resistance under dynamic loads up to 1,500 kg per pallet.
Incline and Flow Regulation: The inclined roller conveyor is set at a 2% to 4% slope to control flow speed, adjusted using integrated mechanical speed controllers/dampers to prevent pallets from accelerating excessively.
Component Assembly: The system comprises structural upright frames and load beams, frame protectors, row spacers, heavy-duty rollers, and secure pallet guide plates to prevent pallet misalignment during transit.
Separation Mechanism: An automatic pallet separator mechanism is installed at the unloading face to isolate the front pallet from the rear line, allowing operators to pick the lead pallet safely without back-pressure.

How do we determine the right flow rack dimensions? The structure is fully custom-built. To generate a complimentary custom CAD layout, we require your exact pallet dimensions (Length x Width x Height), maximum pallet weight, forklift reach height, and available warehouse area.
Are there specific pallet material requirements? Yes. Steel and heavy-duty plastic pallets operate most reliably on a gravity-driven flow rack. Standard wooden pallets are also acceptable, provided the bottom base is flat and free of broken boards that could obstruct smooth roller flow.
What is the maximum depth per lane? We typically design gravity flow tracks up to 20 meters deep, accommodating 10 to 15 pallets per lane depending on load weight and speed dampening requirements.
