For optimal results, dilute Lubekote 9020 with a solvent such as naphtha or heptane to achieve the desired working concentration. Ensure the mold surface is thoroughly clean and free of previous contamination.
Apply at least two thin, uniform coats at the process temperature, allowing a short flash-off time between coats. For continuous production, a light maintenance coat can be reapplied as needed to sustain perfect release performance and lubrication.
For industrial use only. Avoid prolonged skin contact with the concentrate. Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with copious amounts of water and seek medical advice.
Lubekote 9020 is expertly formulated for rigid polyurethane foam, integral skin foam, and polyurethane elastomers. It is not recommended for flexible PU foam applications.
It is a concentrate that must be diluted with a solvent. We recommend using naphtha or heptane. A general dilution ratio is between 10:1 to 50:1 (solvent:agent), but the exact ratio should be optimized for your specific mold and process.
