Lead-free Adhesive For The Bonding of Rubber Compounds to Metals Thinkbond 927MS
Thinkbond 927MS is a lead-free bonding agent for the bonding of rubber compounds to metals and other solid materials under vulcanization conditions. Thinkbond 927MS is especially suitable for the adhesion of compounds difficult to bond and of low hardness. Thinkbond 927MS can be used as a one-coat bonding agent or as a covercement over a primer such as Thinkbond 11H.
Prepare the metal surface properly by removing completely oil, grease and dirt. Blasting the surface with grit blasting steel so that the surface roughness is greater than 15 µm. For aluminum surfaces, we recommend the use of aluminum oxide as abrasive. Clean again the substrate to remove dust from blasting residues.
Thinkbond 927MS can be applied on surfaces treated by chemical processes such as galvanizing, phosphating, KTL...

Keep container tightly closed during storage and always keep away from heat sources. Store in an environment below 10ºC increases the shelf life of the adhesive.
