Product Overview
Silica Fume, also known as Microsilica, is an ultra-fine, non-crystalline polymorph of silica produced as a by-product in the electric arc furnace during the production of elemental silicon or ferrosilicon alloys. Due to its extreme fineness and high amorphous silicon dioxide content, it acts as a highly effective pozzolanic material that significantly enhances the mechanical and durability properties of concrete and refractory castables.
