Product Highlights for Silicone Potting Compound:
* Internal Visual Inspection: Maintains high transparency after curing for non-destructive internal inspection and failure analysis.
* Excellent Electrical Insulation: Extremely high volume resistivity and dielectric strength effectively prevent arc-over under high voltage.
* Lightweight Design: Lower density than conventional potting compounds helps reduce overall product weight.
* Stable Chemical Properties: Resistant to ozone, radiation, and weathering; non-corrosive to most substrates.
* Broad Service Temperature Range: Remains elastic and performs stably within a temperature range of -50°C to 200°C.
Application Areas for Silicone Potting Compound:
* Potting protection for precision sensors and current transformers
* Protection for high-end PCBs, facilitating rework and analysis
* Electronic modules with indicator lights, keeping signals visible
* Encapsulation for educational and research electronic models
* Aerospace electronics where weight is a concern

Detailed Operating Guide for Silicone Potting Compound:
1. Surface Preparation: Ensure surfaces to be potted are clean, dry, and free of grease. Conduct compatibility tests for sensitive substrates.
2. Accurate Weighing: Use a scale with 0.1g accuracy. Strictly follow the 10:1 weight ratio of Component A to Component B. *Note: The volume ratio is not 10:1 due to density differences. Always use weight ratio.*
3. Thorough Mixing: Mix the two components thoroughly for at least 2-3 minutes in a clean container until the color is completely uniform. Scrape the sides and bottom to ensure all material is mixed.
4. Vacuum Degassing: Pour the mixed compound into a vacuum chamber and degas at a vacuum of -0.095 MPa or higher for 2-5 minutes, until most bubbles collapse. *This step is crucial for achieving optically clear potting.*
5. Potting and Curing: Slowly pour the degassed compound into the device housing, allowing it to flow and fill naturally. Cure at 25°C and <70% relative humidity. Subsequent testing or handling can be done after 24 hours; final properties are achieved after 7 days.

Key Precautions for Silicone Potting Compound:
* Do Not Heat Cure: This is a condensation-cure system. Heating will cause internal bubbling and cracking. Heating to accelerate curing is strictly prohibited.
* Sealed Storage: Component B can absorb moisture from the air and degrade. Fillers in Component A may settle. Reseal containers immediately after use.
* Personal Protection: Wear gloves and safety glasses. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. In case of contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
* Before Full Cure: Do not hermetically seal the device until the compound is fully cured (recommended after 7 days) to allow complete escape of by-product molecules.

Packaging & Storage for Silicone Potting Compound:
* Standard Packaging: 22kg/set (20kg A + 2kg B); 11kg/set (10kg A + 1kg B).
* Storage Conditions: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Ideal storage temperature: 10-30°C.
* Shelf Life: 6 months in original, unopened containers from date of manufacture.

FAQ for Silicone Potting Compound:
1. Q: Will the transparent potting compound turn yellow over time?
A: It exhibits excellent yellowing resistance when used continuously at or below the maximum rated 200°C. Slight changes may occur under extreme UV exposure outdoors, but protective properties remain unaffected.
2. Q: How to ensure the best transparency after potting?
A: The key step is vacuum degassing. Also, ensure mixing containers and tools are dry and clean to avoid contamination.
3. Q: What materials does it adhere well to?
A: It adheres well to most metals (aluminum, copper), plastics (PCB, ABS), and ceramics. Test compatibility with non-polar materials like PP, PE.
4. Q: Is a slightly tacky surface normal after curing?
A: Yes, a slight surface tack is normal for condensation-cure silicones and does not affect internal curing or overall protection.
5. Q: Can we get samples for testing?
A: Absolutely. We encourage testing before bulk orders. Please use the "Contact Us" form on our website to request free samples. Our technical team will assist you.
