100:2 Tin Cured Silicone Rubber condensed Industrial Grade Liquid Silicone For Plaster Mold
Description of Tin Cure Silicone Rubber
Tin Cure Silicone Rubber (also known as condensation-cure silicone) is a two-component, room-temperature vulcanizing (RTV-2) silicone rubber that uses a tin-based catalyst to cure. It is the global industry standard for general mold making due to its high flexibility, cost-effectiveness, and ease of use.

Feature of Tin Cure Silicone Rubber:
High Tear Strength: It is extremely stretchy and resistant to tearing, making it perfect for molds with deep undercuts.
Excellent Release Properties: It naturally repels most materials, meaning you rarely need to use chemical mold release agents.
Low Inhibition Risk: It is highly forgiving. Unlike platinum silicone, tin cure silicone will cure over almost any surface (clay, wood, 3D prints, plaster) without chemical failure.
Shrinkage Over Time: It shrinks slightly (typically 0.2% to 1%) during the curing process and continues to shrink very slowly over years.
Limited Lifespan: Tin cure molds degrade faster over time (usually within a few years) and will eventually become brittle.
Application of tin cured silicone rubber
Replicating plaster, concrete elements, cornices, and stone veneers.
Ideal for high-volume candle and soap production due to its low cost and high flexibility.
Making molds for production casting of polyurethane, epoxy, and polyester resins
