This is a two-component addition-cure silicone potting rubber designed for electronic components. It cures into a high-performance elastomer at room temperature or with heat, offering excellent electrical insulation, strong moisture resistance, and a wide working temperature range from -50°C to 250°C.

Product Applications for silicone potting compound:

A silicone potting compound with a thermal conductivity of 1.0 W/m·K is primarily utilized in medium-power electronic devices that require a certain degree of heat dissipation, while placing a greater emphasis on electrical insulation, water and dust resistance, and flame retardancy. It is frequently employed in power modules, photovoltaic inverters, on-board chargers (OBCs), and DC/DC converters; through the potting process, it facilitates heat dissipation for heat-generating components—such as transformers and MOSFETs—while simultaneously providing protective encapsulation. Leveraging its excellent vibration resistance and thermal stability, it is widely used for the protective potting of motor stator coils, various controllers, and other automotive electronic modules. Furthermore, it finds application in high-power medical equipment, such as CT scanners and cardiovascular angiography systems. As such devices demand exceptionally high levels of stability and reliability, the potting compound serves to provide superior electrical insulation—thereby mitigating the risk of electrical leakage—in addition to aiding in heat dissipation. It is also utilized for potting the driver power supplies of LED lighting fixtures to enhance thermal efficiency and extend the service life of the luminaires. In the home appliance sector, it is commonly found in the control boards or power modules of products such as microwave ovens, air conditioners, and induction cooktops; within industrial controllers, high-power transformers, and fiber-optic communication equipment, it is deployed to provide protection against the dust, moisture, and vibration inherent in industrial environments.
