Description of MCSIL-20 series RTV2 silicone liquid rubber:

MCSIL-2015A/B is soft silicone with hardness Shore A 15. It is a kind of of two- component materials consisting of part A flowable silicone base which when mixed with the curing agent or catalyst,cures at room temperature by a condensation reaction. It is widely used for making molds for candle, soap, wax, plaster cornice, small crafts etc.

Applications of MCSIL-20 series RTV2 silicone liquid rubber:
 

Tin cured silicone can be used for casting polyurethane, epoxy, polyester resin, PU resin, cement, plaster, gypsum, candle,soap,waxes, toys crafts, poly resin crafts, Lighting, plastic toys, stationery gifts, statue,furniture decorative materials, building decoration material, sculpture, sandstone, low melt alloys/metals, urethane and so on.

INSTRUCTION of Tin Cured RTV2 silicone liquid rubber:

The surface of the original should be clean and free of loose material. If your products with thin flower patterns, and especially with porous substrates, please use a suitable mold release agent such as soap water, detergent, Vaseline or petroleum jelly.

Mixing

Please weight 100 Part A base and 2 parts of Curing Agent in a clean container.Thoroughly stir Part A base silicone before use, as filler separation may occur uponprolonged storage. Mixing Part A and Part B evenly until the CA30 completely dispersed in the base. 

It is strongly recommended that entrapped air be removed in a vacuum chamber, allowing the mix to completely expand and then collapse. After a further 3-5 mins under vacuum,the mix should be inspected and can be used if free of air bubbles. A volume increase of 3-5 times will occur on vacuum de-airing the mixture. So a suitably large container should be chosen.

Pouring the mixture and curing

Pour the mixed Part A base silicone and part B the curing agent as soon as possible onto the original, avoiding air entrapment. The catalyzed material will cure to a flexible rubber within 6 hours (or faster by different mixing ratio or room temperature), we advice youde-mold after 24 hours, it is will improve the replicate times of silicone mold.

Part A base silicone: 1kg /Jar; 5kg per bucket, 20kg/drum, 25kg/drum or 200kg/drum
Part B CA30 Curing Agent: 250g, 800g/bottle, 1kg/bottle

Storage

When the silicone rubber is stored at or below 30 centi degree in the original unopened containers, Silicone Base and Curing agent have a usable life of 12 months from the date of production. After 12 months stockpiles use the Stir to mix the Part A silicone for some minutes, then the silicone can be use again, no influence for other performance.
