RTV-2 silicone rubber is a two-component material, which consists of Part A base silicone and Part B curing agent; Then the silicone base and curing agent can cure at room temperature by a condensation reaction. These silicone rubber materials can be cast into the cured silicone mold: Plaster, polyurethane, PU, GRC, cement, resin, polyester, wax etc.

1. Good flow ability(16000Cps) and long working time(30~40 min) 2. Low hardness, easy de-mold 3. High tear and tensile strength 4. Low linear shrinkage(0.03%)
Applications of silicone soap mold making RTV-2 silicon rubber
MCSIL-215/218 silicone rubber is suited for small or middle size reproduction of candle mold, soap mold, small size concrete stones, artificial stones, plaster molding, figures, art objects, decoration molding, and the products with thin flower patterns.

Why does the silicone rubber mold have few molding times?
The silicone rubber mold has few molding times is due to follwoing reasons: Adding too much silicone oil which will destroy the molecular of silicone rubber; Making the mold for small and fine detailed products with higher hardness silicone rubber which is easy to break; Making the mold for large products with soft silicone rubber which will reduce the tensile and tear strength of the mold, and the mold will have deformation. Thus, we should take the proper silicone rubber to make the mold for suitable products.
