Product Description
Magnesium alloy laptop housing is a 3C structural component made from high-strength magnesium alloys (such as AZ91D, AZ31B) through precision CNC machining and die-casting processes. This housing can be as thin as 0.5-1.0mm, meeting the lightweight and high-strength requirements of modern ultra-thin laptops. Magnesium alloy has a density that is only 68% of aluminum alloy, 27% of zinc alloy, and 23% of steel, making it one of the lightest structural alloys available.

Lightweight Design: Low density (approximately 1.8 g/cm³) reduces laptop housing weight by 30-50%, significantly enhancing portability.
Excellent EMI Shielding: Capable of completely absorbing electromagnetic interference exceeding 100dB, meeting EMC requirements without additional conductive coating.
Efficient Thermal Management: Thermal conductivity is 100 times that of plastic, quickly dissipating CPU heat to prevent system overheating.
High Rigidity and Impact Resistance: Resists breaking when dropped from 1-meter height or impacted by 5-pound free-falling objects, effectively protecting internal components.
Good Corrosion Resistance: 8 times more corrosion-resistant than carbon steel and 4 times more than aluminum alloy in salt spray tests.
