The ELT-50400S is a 50400 egg single stage incubator for commercial hatcheries that need large batches and low running cost. It pairs a large trolley cabinet with energy saving electric heating and thick insulation, so high capacity does not mean a high power bill.
As a hatchery grows, it is tempting to run many small machines or one oversized unit that wastes power. Both raise the cost per chick. Large batches also make any temperature drift more damaging, because a fault affects more eggs at once.
High capacity with poor insulation and flat out wire heaters wastes energy. A large cabinet without strong air circulation has hot and cold zones, so a single fault hits a bigger share of the batch.
The ELT-50400S uses 100mm XPS panels and self limiting electric heating to keep the power draw low at about 34 kWh per 24 hours. Multiple industrial fans and a multi point sensor layout hold the whole 50400 egg cabinet within +/-0.1C, so the large batch is treated as evenly as a small one.
Built for commercial hatcheries with large weekly output. Suits chicken, duck, goose and quail eggs by tray change.
Eggs load on 10 trolleys of trays. The controller holds the temperature and humidity curve and pulses the electric heaters, while several industrial fans mix the air to remove hot and cold pockets. The egg turning motor tilts the trays to 45 degrees every two hours.
For large batches, check the number of fans and sensors, the wall thickness and the heater type. Ask for the power use per 24 hours so you can compare running cost, not only the purchase price.
