The First Line of Air Defense: Primary Air Filters
The Primary Air Filter (Pre-Filter) is the economical first stage of any cleanroom or HVAC air purification system — capturing large dust particles (≥5 µm) before they can reach the more expensive medium and HEPA filters downstream. By removing the bulk of coarse contaminants, the primary filter extends the service life of downstream filters, reduces system maintenance costs, and maintains the air quality entering the cleanroom. Available in panel and pocket configurations with washable or replaceable media, it is the dependable foundation of every clean air system.
Efficient Large-Particle Pre-Filtration (G1-G4) Captures large dust particles (≥5 µm) at G1-G4 efficiency levels — removing the bulk of coarse contaminants before they reach downstream medium and HEPA filters. Protects Downstream Filters & Extends Their Life By intercepting coarse particles first, the primary filter dramatically extends the service life of medium and HEPA filters — reducing replacement frequency and overall system maintenance costs. Low Initial Resistance — Energy Efficient The open, low-density media structure provides low initial resistance (typically ≤50 Pa) — minimizing the load on the fan system and saving energy. High Dust-Holding Capacity The filter media offers a high dust-holding capacity — allowing longer service intervals between replacements and reducing operational downtime. Washable or Replaceable Media Options Available with washable media (for repeated use after cleaning) or replaceable media (for simple drop-in replacement) — matched to the maintenance preference of each facility. Panel & Pocket Configurations Available in flat panel and pocket (bag) configurations — matched to the airflow, space, and filtration requirements of each system.
