This door assembly consists of a narrower "daughter" leaf and a wider "mother" leaf. For routine passage, only the mother leaf is opened, while the daughter leaf remains closed to maintain the space's containment integrity; however, both leaves can be opened simultaneously—allowing for full-width access—during equipment transport or periods of high foot traffic, thereby balancing daily operational convenience with efficient evacuation during peak times.
