Test Sample Scope
For electric blankets, heating pads and other similar flexible heating appliances as well as woven materials used for bed or human body heating.
Application Purpose
Measures heat conduction transferred to patients from electric blankets, heating pads and other similar flexible heating appliances for bed or human heating. Distinguishes high heat-transfer rate (>230 W/m²) from low heat-transfer rate (<230 W/m²).
Test Principle
Water from the constant-temperature water tank circulates through the constant-temperature chamber, maintaining surface temperature at 23±1 °C. A 2 L sterile infusion bag filled with water at 36 °C is placed on the test sample covering the heating surface. After one-hour testing, the system automatically detects the water temperature inside the infusion bag.
Device Construction
Cabinet-type structure with PLC control and touch-screen operation. Built-in heating water tank and circulating water pump with adjustable flow rate. Test temperature and constant-temperature holding time can be set on the unit. PID temperature control ensures accurate and stable temperature of SUS304 stainless-steel constant-temperature water tank.
