The Sinuo Ball Pressure Test Apparatus SN2137 is a precision testing instrument designed to evaluate the heat resistance and deformation resistance of solid electrical insulating materials, electrical enclosures, and external plastic components under elevated temperatures.
The apparatus fully complies with IEC60695-10-2, IEC 60335-1 Clause 30.1, IEC 60884-1 Figure 37, IEC 60695-10-2, IEC 60320-1, IEC 60598-1, and other international safety standards. It is widely used by electrical appliance manufacturers, plug and socket manufacturers, lighting companies, certification laboratories, universities, and third-party testing organizations.
During the test, the conditioned specimen is placed on the test support and subjected to a 20 N force through a hardened steel ball with a diameter of 5 mm. The complete loading assembly is then placed inside a temperature-controlled oven for one hour. After the specified duration, the load is removed and the indentation diameter is measured to determine whether the specimen complies with the relevant standard requirements.

Many electrical products contain thermoplastic insulating materials. Under long-term exposure to heat generated during normal operation, these materials may soften or deform. Excessive deformation can reduce insulation distances, expose live parts, or compromise the overall safety of the product.
The Ball Pressure Test simulates this condition by applying a constant mechanical load while the specimen is maintained at a specified elevated temperature inside an oven. After one hour of thermal exposure, the indentation is measured to assess material performance under heat stress.
