The Air Saturated Test Chamber is designed in accordance with IEC 62196-1:2022 Clause 30 and is specifically used for the corrosion resistance testing of plugs, socket-outlets, screws, terminals, and other metallic components. The equipment provides a controlled saturated water vapor environment to accelerate the corrosion process after specimens have been immersed in ammonium chloride solution, allowing laboratories and manufacturers to evaluate product durability, material performance, and compliance with international standards.

Test Principle
According to IEC 62196-1 requirements, metallic parts are first immersed in ammonium chloride solution and subsequently exposed to a saturated water vapor environment.
