The IEC 60335-2-25 Storage Test Auxiliary Cabinet is a dedicated testing fixture developed for conducting the liquid leakage (spillage) test required by IEC 60335-2-25:2015 Clause 15.102, Figure 102, and Figure 103.
This equipment provides a standardized installation platform for microwave ovens during liquid overflow testing, allowing laboratories and manufacturers to accurately evaluate whether spilled liquids can enter hazardous parts of the appliance during normal use.

During the test, the microwave oven is installed on the storage test auxiliary cabinet in accordance with the standard. A specified quantity of liquid is introduced through the standardized funnel system to simulate accidental overflow during normal operation.
The test evaluates whether the spilled liquid can reach live electrical parts or create hazardous conditions inside the appliance. The auxiliary cabinet provides stable positioning, standardized installation geometry, and reliable liquid guidance, ensuring accurate and repeatable testing.
