HowinTM HW-100M— Special toughening compatibilizer for PA/ABS
Product Description
HowinTMHW-100M is a kind of multipolymer of styrene, acrylonitrile , styrene-butadiene rubber and maleic anhydride, produced by bulk polymerization. It’s milky granules.
Application
Including some maleic anhydride and soft segment, HW-100M is particularly suitable as toughening agents and compatibilization agents for PS/ABS.

Used as toughening compatilizer of PA/ABS, HW-100M increases the toughness of alloy clearly.

The figures show that the dispersion phase of PA/ABS is unevenly distributed and ABS aggregated without compatilizer, and there is obvious interface between PA and ABS phase. The impact strength of alloy is very low in the macroscopic. After adding HW-100M and increasing the dosage, the dispersion phase of PA/ABS becomes more even and phase interface more vague, while the impact strength of alloy can be very high.
It's mainly used in modified styrene resin and alloy, such as glass fiber reinforced ABS, glass fiber reinforced AS, PC/ABS alloy, PA/ABS alloy, heat resistant ABS and so on, these materials are widely used in automobiles, household appliances and other fields, such as car rear view mirror housing, center stack, rice cooker shell, air conditioner housings etc.
