1. How does the "Voice Changer" work?
When you answer the doorbell on your phone, you can select the "Uncle Voice" mode. This deepens your voice to sound like an adult male, providing extra security for women living alone or children home alone.
2. Do I need to drill holes to install it?
No, this model is designed for portable installation. It comes with strong industrial-grade double-sided tape. Just peel and stick it to your doorframe. It's perfect for apartments or rentals where drilling isn't allowed.
3. How do I charge the doorbell?
The doorbell has a built-in rechargeable battery. When the battery is low, simply remove it from the wall bracket and charge it using the included USB cable, just like charging a phone. One charge lasts about 3 months.
4. Does it work at night?
Yes. It is equipped with Infrared Night Vision. The camera automatically switches to night mode when it gets dark, allowing you to see visitors clearly in black and white even without a porch light.
5. Is the Cloud Storage free?
The device usually supports free snapshot storage (pushing photos when rung). For continuous video recording playback, a Cloud Storage subscription can be purchased directly through the Tuya App.
