1. Why do I need this gateway?

2. How many devices can I connect to it?
The gateway supports connecting a total of approximately 50 to 128 sub-devices depending on the stability of your network and the types of devices connected.
3. Does it work with Alexa?
Yes! Once you connect the gateway and your sub-devices to the Smart Life App, simply link your account to Alexa or Google Assistant to enable voice control for compatible sub-devices.
4. Does it need to be plugged into a router with a cable?
No, this is a Wireless Gateway. It connects to your home router via 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. It only needs to be plugged into a power outlet (USB cable included).
5. What is the difference between Bluetooth and ZigBee mode?
This hub supports both! It detects which protocol your sub-device uses automatically. You don't need to switch modes manually; just click "Add Device" in the app.
