The insulated glass-fiber rectangular tube frames produced by our factory are made from modified SMC composite material combined with alkali-free glass fiber. They are formed as a single piece through a continuous pultrusion process, resulting in uniform, pale yellow hollow rectangular profiles with dense, thick walls and a consistent, uniform cross-section. The product is primarily designed for electrical insulation support applications and is suitable for amorphous alloy transformers, energy storage cabinet enclosures, and internal frameworks of high-voltage electrical equipment. Cross-sectional dimensions, wall thickness, and fixed lengths can be customized as needed.

 

II. Core Performance Advantages of the SMC Matrix

 

1. High Insulation and Non-Magnetic Properties Ensure Safety in Power Applications: The SMC resin matrix features an amorphous insulating structure that is completely non-conductive and non-magnetic. It does not generate eddy current losses during use, thereby preventing electrical leakage and magnetic field interference in high-voltage equipment, making it suitable for various power transformation and energy storage systems.

 

2. Lightweight and High-Strength with Excellent Load-Bearing Stability: The multi-layer interwoven glass fiber-reinforced matrix is significantly lighter than metal profiles under equivalent load-bearing conditions. It resists bending and deformation under long-term loads, substantially reducing the overall weight of electrical equipment and easing installation and transportation burdens.

 

3. Corrosion- and Temperature-Resistant for Long-Term Durability in Outdoor Equipment: The material withstands corrosion from acids, alkalis, moisture, and high-temperature environments and does not rust or oxidize like steel; Dimensional changes in high-temperature environments are minimal; the material does not crack or chalk over long-term use, reducing the frequency of equipment maintenance and replacement.

 

4. Flame-retardant and thermally insulating, blocking heat conduction in circuits. SMC inherently possesses flame-retardant properties and a low thermal conductivity, effectively isolating heat-generating components inside the equipment. This prevents circuit aging and short circuits caused by heat conduction, thereby enhancing the operational safety of high-voltage electrical systems.

 

5. Precision Dimensions from One-Piece Molding, Easy to Process: The continuous pultrusion process ensures uniform profile dimensions with no delamination or gaps between inner and outer walls. Profiles can be cut, drilled, and assembled directly on-site without requiring additional secondary processing such as anti-corrosion or insulating coatings.

 

III. Applications

 

Primarily used for amorphous transformer support frames, insulating frames for energy storage battery cabinets, internal brackets for high- and low-voltage switchgear, and insulating load-bearing components for new energy power equipment.
