Instructions for Using GSM21 Series Acrylic Adhesive PET 4mm Splicing Tape:
1. Use the Cutting Tool to Accurately Cut the Carrier Tapes: Begin by using a cutting tool to accurately cut the carrier tapes. Ensure that the cuts are clean and precise, as this will impact the quality of the splice.
2. Remove the Release Liner of the Splice Tape: Next, remove the release liner from the splice tape to reveal the adhesive side. This adhesive side will be used to join the cut carrier tapes.
3. Align the Holes of the Carrier Tapes with the Guide Indentations: Align the holes of the cut carrier tapes (with the cover tape facing down) with the guide indentations on the splice tape. The guide indentations are designed to ensure precise alignment, simplifying the splicing process.
4. Place Both Joining Carrier Tapes onto the First Strip of the Splice Tape: Carefully place both joining carrier tapes onto the first strip of the splice tape. Ensure that the tapes are aligned correctly and that the adhesive side of the splice tape makes contact with the carrier tapes.
5. Fold Over the Second Strip to the Underside of the Carrier Tape: Fold over the second strip of the splice tape to the underside of the carrier tape. Press firmly to ensure that the adhesive makes a strong bond with the carrier tapes.
6. Remove and Discard the Clear Plastic Cover: Finally, remove and discard the clear plastic cover from the splice tape to complete the splice.
