GSM06A Single Splice Tape Roll series single splice tape is used for jointing carrier tapes in the SMT process. It is made of one tapes and release paper with superior adhesion.It’s suitable for Siemens and Fuji machine.
一,Applications of GSM06A Single Splice Tape Roll
1. Single strips of PET tape on a roll used to join SMT carrier tapes
2. To create a stronger connection, especially on larger carrier tapes, the GSM06A splice tape is used in conjunction with a splice tool and clip. This combination enhances the strength and reliability of the joint.
3. 32mm-88mm available upon request.

二,Detailed Instructions for Use
1. Use the Cutting Tool: Begin by accurately cutting the carrier tapes using a splice cutting tool (GSMTL20/GSMTL30/GSMTL40). Precision in this step is crucial to ensure that the joint is secure and that the tapes align correctly.
2. Place Splice Clip on Placement Pins: Place a splice clip (teeth up) on the splice tool’s placement pins. This setup prepares the clip for secure attachment to the carrier tapes.
3. Center Carrier Tapes: Center both carrier tapes (cover tape up) on the pins and secure them with the clamps. Ensuring that the tapes are correctly centered is vital for a strong and reliable joint.
4. Crimp the Handle: Crimp the handle of the splice tool to connect the carrier tapes. This step secures the splice clip to the tapes, creating a robust connection.
5. Remove the Release Liner: Remove the release liner of the splice tape to expose the adhesive side. This step ensures that the adhesive is ready to bond with the carrier tapes.
6. Apply Tape Strip: Add a single strip of splice tape to the cover tape and press firmly. This action ensures that the adhesive bonds securely with the carrier tapes, completing the splice.
