DESCRIPTION
GSM19 series SMT 4 splice tape with guide alignment designed apply for all sizes(8mm/12mm/16mm/24mm/32mm/44mm/56mm/72mm/88mm) of carrier tape.It is made of 4 pcs tapes, release paper and removable PET with superior adhesion.
1, Application
1. Joining SMT Carrier Tapes: The splice tape is used to join strips of PET tape for carrier tapes ranging from 8mm to 88mm in width. This allows for continuous operation without the need to frequently reload the feeder.
2. Compatibility with Various Machines: The splice tape is suitable for use with a variety of SMT machines, including those from Universal, Juki, Sanyo, and Hitachi, among others.
3. 4 splice tapes design.

2, Detailed Instructions for Use
To maximize the benefits of the GSM19 series SMT 4 splice tape, it is essential to follow the correct usage procedures. Below is a step-by-step guide to using the splice tape effectively:
1. Cutting the Carrier Tapes: Use the appropriate cutting tool (GSMTL20, GSMTL30, or GSMTL40) to accurately cut the carrier tapes to the desired length.
2. Preparing the Splice Tape: Remove the release liner from the splice tape to expose the adhesive side.
3. Aligning the Carrier Tapes: Place the cut carrier tapes (with the cover tape facing down) onto the splice guide placement to ensure proper alignment.
4. Folding the Splice Tape: Fold over the other strip of the splice tape to the underside of the carrier tape and press firmly to secure the joint.
5. Removing the Guide: Once the tapes are joined, remove the guide placement from the carrier tapes.
6. Finalizing the Splice: Remove and discard the clear plastic cover to complete the splicing process.
7. Ensuring Reliable Splicing: Press down firmly on the splice tape to ensure a reliable and secure splice.
