The XBSY Sand Pump is a robust centrifugal mud pump developed for oilfield drilling fluid transfer and solids control operations. It provides a consistent and reliable flow of drilling mud to equipment such as desanders, desilters, mud cleaners, and mud mixing systems, supporting efficient circulation throughout the solids control process.
Designed to handle abrasive drilling fluids containing sand and suspended solids, the pump is equipped with a durable mechanical seal system featuring tungsten carbide sealing faces and carbon fiber auxiliary sealing components. This wear-resistant configuration helps improve sealing reliability, reduce the risk of leakage, and extend service life during continuous drilling operations.
The pump's hydraulic system is engineered for efficient fluid transfer. The impeller and volute casing are optimized using CFD analysis to reduce hydraulic losses and improve overall pumping performance. Wear-resistant high-chromium cast iron components provide enhanced protection against erosion from sand and solid particles, helping reduce component wear and maintenance frequency.
The compact pump design supports both direct-drive and belt-drive configurations, allowing flexible integration into different oilfield solids control systems. Its practical structure makes installation, operation, inspection, and maintenance convenient.
