Technical Principle | Precise Identification via Dual-Energy X-ray
The device simultaneously emits low-energy (20-50 keV) and high-energy (80-150 keV) X-rays. Different materials have distinct absorption characteristics. Precise material discrimination is achieved by calculating the Dual-Energy Ratio (DER):
Heavy Metals (Copper, Zinc, Stainless Steel, etc.)
Very high low-energy absorption, moderate high-energy absorption
DER Value: >2.5
