Installation Steps
1. Cut off vehicle power supply before installation, prepare matching installation tools.
2. Locate the old ABS wheel speed sensor at bus wheel hub, remove the metal fixing clip.
3. Unplug the waterproof connector of old sensor, then take out the old sensor probe from mounting hole.
4. Install the new 35J18L‑2405115 sensor probe into the mounting hole, fasten with the new metal fixing clip.
5. Route the 2‑meter cable reasonably, avoid pulling or squeezing the wire harness. Firmly insert the waterproof connector into vehicle matching socket.
6. Finish assembly, turn on vehicle power, test ABS system function to confirm normal speed signal output.
Notes
1. Installation and disassembly must be performed under power‑off status to avoid circuit short‑circuit and component damage.
2. Do not strike or bend the metal sensing probe, impact will cause internal sensor damage and signal failure.
3. Arrange wiring harness properly, keep away from high‑temperature components and sharp edges to prevent cable wear and aging.
4. Do not pull the harness forcibly, avoid cutting or modifying the original cable arbitrarily.
5. Check sensor and fixing clip regularly in daily maintenance. Replace parts timely if signal error, abrasion or damage appears.
6. Prevent mud, sand and corrosive liquid from long‑term erosion on sensor head and connector.
7. This sensor is specially for bus ABS anti‑lock braking system, do not use on non‑matching vehicle models.
