5. Professional Installation Instructions
1.Preparatory work: Prepare special hydraulic brake oil for commercial vehicles, wrenches, oil receiving container; park the bus on flat ground, turn off the engine.
2. Drain residual oil: Loosen the oil pipe joint of the old clutch master cylinder, drain the residual clutch hydraulic oil in the pipeline completely, collect waste oil properly.
3. Dismantle old parts: Remove the fixing nuts connecting the master cylinder and the vehicle firewall, disconnect the push rod connected with the clutch pedal, take down the faulty old clutch master cylinder.
4. Install new cylinder: Fix the new clutch master cylinder at the original installation position, tighten fixing nuts; connect the clutch pedal push rod and adjust the free stroke of the clutch pedal according to the factory standard.
5. Connect oil pipeline: Install the hydraulic oil inlet pipe and outlet pipe, fasten all pipe joints to avoid looseness and oil leakage.
6. Add hydraulic oil & exhaust air: Fill the clutch oil storage tank with specified clutch brake fluid; repeatedly step on the clutch pedal, open the exhaust screw of clutch slave cylinder to discharge air inside the hydraulic pipeline until the clutch pedal feels firm without soft sinking.
7. Inspection test: Start the vehicle, test clutch separation and combination, shift gears repeatedly to confirm smooth operation, check all joints for oil leakage; no abnormality means installation is finished.
