Rebonded Foam Manual Vertical Cutting Machine Workflow
1. Preparation: Place a large sponge on the workbench, with one side against the retaining plate and the other against the push plate.
2. Setting: Enter the slice thickness and number of slices on the touchscreen.
3. Start: Press the start button.
4. Cutting: The cutting motor activates, and the blade rotates at high speed. The blade carriage drives the blade through a single cut, severing the frontmost sponge.
5. Feed: The servo motor drives the ball screw, which enables the push plate to precisely advance the remaining sponge by the thickness of a slice.
6. Loop: Repeat steps 4 and 5 until the desired number of slices is completed, automatically stopping.
Rebonded Foam Manual Vertical Cutting Machine Cutting System
This is the "heart" of the vertical saw, performing the actual cutting action.
· Cutting Blade Carriage (Arm): A sturdy, vertically movable arm that mounts the cutting blade and motor. It is typically made of steel plate or casting, providing high rigidity.
· Cutting Motor: A high-power three-phase asynchronous motor that powers the cutting blade. Its power is determined by the density and maximum height of the foam that can be cut.
· Cutting Blade:
· Type: Typically a straight-edged blade with a very thin, sharp edge.
· Material: Made of high-quality tool steel, it must maintain an extremely sharp edge to minimize cutting resistance and avoid pulling on the foam, which could cause deformation or burning.
· Motion: The blade is driven by a motor to rotate at high speed (typically above 2800 rpm), generating a linear cutting speed. The carriage drives the rotating blade from top to bottom (or vice versa) to complete a single cutting stroke.
