This heat is then efficiently transferred to a self-contained chilled water/glycol solution circulating within the unit. This cooled water/glycol mixture is pumped via two insulated, quick-connect, self-sealing 22mm flexible hoses (available in 5m or 15m, max 20m combined) to the separate outdoor unit. Here, the heat is dissipated into the outside air, and the cooled water/glycol is cycled back to the indoor unit. This closed-loop process means no indoor air is exhausted, preserving air quality, humidity levels, and energy efficiency.
