Lithium Iron Phosphate Dedicated High Speed Centrifugal Spray Dryer
The LPG-5 is a compact spray dryer designed for laboratory research and small-scale testing. It features a maximum water evaporation capacity of 5 kg/h. This model utilizes a compressed air drive mode for atomization, achieving a high rotational speed of 25,000 r.p.m with a 50 mm spray disk. The unit is powered exclusively by electric heating with a maximum power of 9 kW. Its compact dimensions (1.8m L × 0.93m W × 2.2m H) make it ideal for limited spaces. It operates with an inlet temperature of 140-350°C (auto-controlled) and an outlet temperature of 80-90°C, ensuring a dry powder recovery rate of ≥95%.
Working Principle
Air undergoes filtration and heating before entering the air distributor at the dryer's top. The heated air flows uniformly into the drying chamber in a spiral pattern. Feed liquid passes through a high-speed centrifugal atomizer at the tower top, where it is sprayed into extremely fine mist-like droplets. These droplets contact the parallel hot air flow and are dried into finished products within seconds. Finished products continuously discharge from the drying tower bottom and cyclone separator, while exhaust gases are expelled by a fan.

While specifically designed for lithium iron phosphate in new energy batteries, this spray dryer technology serves multiple industries:
Chemical Industry: Sodium fluoride/potassium, alkaline dye pigments, dye intermediates, compound fertilizers, formaldehyde silicic acid, catalysts, sulfating agents, amino acids, white carbon black
Note: The water evaporation rate is related to the material's characteristics and the inlet/outlet air temperature conditions.
